Productions. While our corporate name may have changed, many of the faces will
remain the same and we even added a couple new ones! Many of you remember when
the Buz Post Barrel Races were "the new kid on the block." You've been with us
since the beginning and you also know the huge growth we've experienced in the
past few years. Quite frankly, we've outgrown Buz's local market for selling
vehicles. Consequently, it was time for Corky and I to form our own production
company. Buz's Sooner Trailer Dealership will remain on as one of your corporate
sponsors and Buz will always be "The Godfather" of our races. We also need to
"Thank" Classic Equine for their years of financial support to the barrel racers
and to announce their continued sponsorship with our new company!! Way to go
Classic!! In addition to Classic Equine, we're also welcoming back sponsorships
from all of our major sponsors including ebarrelracing.com, LCI Insurance, and
Quick Pay. We also have several new sponsorships pending which will allow us
pump up the purses even more in the coming year!! 2006 EXTRA’S include a pumped
up level of contestant participation while “Rockin’ the industry” to a new
“Shootout Format.” It will also see the return of “Corky’s Cash Cube”- Full of
Flying Money!” Tons of games and contests for all ages including “The Treasure
Hunt”, “Let’s Make a Deal” ,, “The Men’s Granny Panty Race”,,, and “Stick Horse
Races for the kiddos” just to name a few.
Win$More Productions is actually a "powerhouse merger" consisting of individuals
that have been in the industry and behind the scenes for years. Corky Barder and
I will remain as managing producers and maintain control of operations with the
following people as business partners and shareholders.
Jim Gates - “The man behind the mic!” He has been the voice of Buz Post, the BBR
World Finals, Western Ways Events, etc. etc. Jim has been involved with barrel
racing on many levels for over 20 years. He has been responsible for producing
several of the industry's larger events including the Frenchman's Extravaganza &
Thumper's Barrel Bash. Jim is married to barrel racer Stacey Gates and is the
brother-in-law of futurity trainer Paul Humphreys.
Mary Etta Cochran - "The most trusted time-keeper in the industry." With her 40
years of industry involvement, Mary Etta brings more to the table than we could
possibly detail. She has been a producer, time-keeper, contestant, etc. She also
publishes "The Barrel Bible." Ask anyone who knows Mary Etta and they will tell
you just how awesome she really is! With her in the announcer's box contestants
always feel safe in knowing that EVERY detail will run smoothly, accurately,
fairly and FAST!!
Robin Cagle - If you've ever been to one of our races and passed through the
office you've probably dealt with Robin,,,our resident "Problem Solver." Robin
has been with us since the very first Buz Post and has never missed a single
race. She manages the race office and makes sure everyone receives service above
and beyond industry standards. With a "cutting" background, she is an
experienced horsewoman who is willing to go the extra mile for any contestant.
Combined, these individuals comprise one of the strongest professional
production teams ever assembled in the industry. Their vested interest will
insure continued success and dedication to the contestants, while producing the
most affordable and incredible barrel races ANYWHERE!! Races where U WIN$MORE!!
